How do I open a checking account?
You can open a checking account online with our online application or by visiting one of our locations.
Are there eligibility requirements for opening an account?
You live, work, worship, volunteer, or go to school in

- Marion County, TN
…OR if you live or work in
- Catoosa County, GA
- Walker County, GA
- Dade County, GA
Immediate family/household members of individuals who meet the above criteria are also eligible to join, and businesses and organizations who meet these criteria are also welcome.
Can I open more than one checking account?
Yes, you can open multiple checking accounts to suit different financial needs, such as budgeting or managing separate expenses.
Account Basics
What are the ATM fees if using non-network ATMs?
Our Co-Op Shared Branch program gives you access to nearly 30,000 surcharge-free ATM locations, with over 5,600 convenient Shared Branch locations in all 50 states. Learn more about our fees and service charge policy.
Can I earn interest on my checking account?
Our accounts Member Select ™ Share Draft and Member Plus Share Draft allow you to earn interest on your checking account. Learn more about our share draft interest rates.

Are checking accounts insured?
Our checking accounts are NCUA-insured. Banks and credit unions insure accounts with federal backing, ensuring the government will cover your deposit dollar-for-dollar, up to $250,000 per depositor if your institution fails. This coverage includes your principal and any accrued interest up to the institution's closing date, offering you security and peace of mind in uncertain economic times.

How do I change my legal name on my account?
To change the legal name on your account, you must visit a branch and present the necessary documentation for a name change, such as a valid state ID or legal proof of the change.
How do I change my address on my account?
To change the address on your account, you can do one of the following:

How do I change my PIN?
Yes, you can call 1-866-985-2273 from the phone number associated with your account. If you need to update your phone information, please send a conversation through online banking or stop in your local branch.
